Not sure how many of you use Yahoo! Go but Legends on PinStack noticed that it has just been updated to version 3.0.43. Keeping with tradition there is no changelog so nobody knows what is updated. Legends believes this is the final version and it is now out of beta but I have not been able to confirm that.
Head on over to http://mobile.yahoo.com/go to pick up the latest version.
Thanks to Tashanna for sending this one in!

One thing I have noticed, is that support for the blackberry 8330 has been added. Before, Yahoo Go was not available on the device. Now it is! Great update for those who weren’t able to install it before. 😉

Well, the first thing I can tell you is that it works. I lost most of the fuunctionality the first time I upgraded to OS 4.5. I have not tried out the maping feature yet

Well so far I have to say its a good release because everything is working. However, changes to some options like share location on/off are not saved. With past versions after a few hours data connection failed. Will have to wait and see.

Does this do any background updates? Also what happened to the address book sync?

I don’t think the previous versions had this, but on my 8320 (OS 4.5.069) with no GPS I can hit 2 in Yahoo Maps to see my approximate position just like Google Maps. I can’t say it is any more accurate, but curiously enough Google Maps and Yahoo Go don’t agree on my approximate location. Aren’t they getting the same cell tower info? Funny dat!

That’s true!!! Where’s the address book sync 🙁 ,I don’t know about you guys but I’m staying with yahoo go 2.0,I don’t really like the new version,2.0 is more useful than the new 3.something
