Bplay has really been pushing the envelope recently with their themes. The latest release is an animated theme called Saltwater. Its kind of reminds me of that fish aquarium screensaver everybody used to download on their PC’s. The coolest part is that the background of the theme is animated which means that the fish swim across the screen and bubbles of water are floating up…
This is definitely a conversation starter on your BlackBerry. You can check out the YouTube video of the theme in action below. I can’t wait to see what Bplay releases next!
You can pick up the theme at Bplay for $6.99 at this link. The theme is compatible with the 8100, 8300, & 8800 with one exception. THE THEME DOES NOT WORK ON THE 8830!!! I feel bad for CDMA users. They always seem to get the short straw…

I’d say yes. Purchased and installed and for whatever reason, my data activity was going crazy consistently until i finally uninstalled.

I bought it last night and left my BB on all night. I lost about 3% battery which is less than I usually do. If anything I think it saves battery somehow.

This theme is cool and even better that I was able to arrange what icons I wanted for the btm dock.

Can anyone confirm that this theme does not work on the curve 8330? I’m assuming that it does not considering it does not work with the 8830 but I just thought I would check with our wonderful readers!

Hi Nate.
The reason that it does not work on 8830 is because this specific BlackBerry does not support .GIF images.
