Samuel & Greg let me know that Vodafone UK and New Zealand have both released OS 4.6.0.266 for the BlackBerry Bold. This is a pretty solid release from what I have seen so far so if you were looking for the rubber stamp before going ahead then you now have it.

Ronen, thanks for posting this…its been out for quite a while and to be honest with you, this is a more solid release as you mentioned than the beta version that came out previously.
There are more languages in this version (UK) and the back light in movies is stable now.
This is a good version ya’ll….grab it before the stable OS 5 comes out….hahaha

I am dying to load this new OS version but am afraid it will make my AT&T Bold go haywire. Should I not load it because it is from a different vendor even though it is an official release? HELP! Don’t know what to do

That shouldn’t be a problem. Any OS you install on your ATT Bold is better than what it came with…trust me π

I already had .266 from before, but hey, it is a ‘real’ version, so I installed it over my other version.
What the heck? Can’t hurt.

I am just worried about it not working properly. Am I just being too much of a worrier?

You’ll be fine. Just remember to manually backup and restore your blackberry.
You also might need to register your Host routing table (the one in Bold..)
