Send Free PIN Messages From Your Computer

web2pin.gifI just found this wonderful website Web2Pin that allows you to send PIN messages to other BlackBerry users using a simple online web form. I had never heard of such a service but it is Free so I had to check it out =) I am not quite sure why somebody would use this service over Email or Text Messaging but I thought I would put it out there and see if anybody could suggest a good use for it. The main reason I use PIN messages on my BlackBerry is because I can tell if the recipient received the message and if they read it. The website does not seem to have that capability so it is a moot point. This service seems to be part of their paid website monitoring software SiteRecon but even then I do not see the advantage of web PIN messages instead of Email. Let us know if you disagree!

  1. Give up your pin and others can own your blackberry, spam it and take advantage of future flaws in the product. Go ahead and give up your pin and kiss your privacy good bye.
