RIM has updated quite a few of the BlackBerry 10 development tools today. The main ones are Cascades for BlackBerry 10 and the Native SDK for BlackBerry 10 both getting updated to Beta 4. This update brings some much needed refinements and inclusions and highly recommend checking out the release notes. This is really just another stop gap before the gold SDK’s launch on December 11th, 2012. This update also includes support for installing the BlackBerry 10 IDE on Mac OSX, an update for the Visual Studio Plugin Beta, forward compatibility for BlackBerry WebWorks HTML5 apps along with sensor and orientation API’s for WebWorks.
Check out all the updates here at developer.blackberry.com. Let us know if you spot anything!
PS: Isn’t it beautiful to see RIM’ delivering consistently on schedule? Its like a totally different company!

i think what is even of greater importance is the attention to design details.
look how clean and polished the webpage is. This is Apple/Jobs ballpark in terms of aesthetics.
the train station-style countdown to dev tools was IMO a polished way to get the message across in terms of timing and release.
Yup, this is a new company, but IMO for other reasons.

this is true consumer-level polish and good design taste. I love it
