Sven let us know that he has released ReadOnTouch PRO for the PlayBook. ReadOnTouch is a WebWorks based client for the popular Pocket-Client (previously known as ReadItLater.com but now www.getpocket.com) service. Pocket-Client lets you save content to read later especially offline. ReadOnTouch is a nice interface for the service which makes it easier to read things on the go.
If you are a fan of Pocket-Client or want to find an easier way to read content on the go check out ReadOnTouch PRO for $1.99 in App World. Hopefully the developer will add a free trial soon.

Looks pretty nice. I’ll have to look into whether I should start using Pocket + this app.

This app looks great and I’m sure it works flawlessly.
Still, I always have an internet connection on my plabook thanks to my blackberry phone and bridge so I don’t need to offline reader. From what I’ve heard it seems iOS and Android have similar apps but they of course don’t have bridge internet functionality, so offline access is a must! 😉
This would definitely be more valuable to non-blackberry smartphone playbook owners.
Anyway, happy to see developers pouring into Blackberry environment!!
