Firefox Home App Coming to BlackBerry in “Coming Months”

firefox home With all the craziness of DevCon I am finally getting through the thousands of emails I received while I was out at the show. Jerry let us know that the Mozilla mobile team announced that Firefox Home will be coming to the BlackBerry platform soon.

Firefox Home is currently only available as an iPhone app and is relatively popular. It is a service that gives you access to your Firefox desktop history, bookmarks, and tabs from your mobile phone. That way you can easily go to the page you were viewing on your PC when you left the house. Android does something similar with Send to Android but this offers more functionality.

Hopefully the Mozilla team will release this soon since I could really use such an app. I am just not sure how it will work with my multiple desktops…

  1. I think Opera Mini had the ability to keep bookmarks synced with the Opera Desktop browser.
