Talk about a groundbreaking day. RIM has just started their first open source community offering for the new WebWorks web development environment. Both the framework and the took are all now available at GitHub at the link below:

From what RIM said this is just the beginning. They are also working with developers for other tools like a facebook SDK for BlackBerry. It seems like the Torch team RIM purchased is pushing hard for open source and I am behind them. Keep up the good work!
