We mentioned earlier last month that SHAPE updated the pro version of IM+ to v8.5 with a slick new user interface. Back then they did not update the free ad supported lite version of the app but Terrence let me know that is no longer the case.
You can now pick up the free IM+ Lite app on SHAPE’s website by clicking the “Download Lite” button on the right of this page. Alternatively you can pick it up OTA at wap.shapeservices.com.
As a reminder the change log for this version included a:
- Completely redesigned user interface with new themes available
- Convenient history review for all conversations
- Improved multichat support for MSN and Skype
