It looks like the TSA is finally seeing some sense yet I cannot help but agree with Joel Johnson that Obama should fire the TSA. Reuters has it from a credible source that the TSA is going to let pilots decide:
…whether to allow passengers to keep items in their laps or require them to remain seated during portions of the flight… The TSA also will let pilots and airlines determine whether in-flight entertainment systems that show a plane’s location should be turned off to avoid a security risk, the source said.
It looks like we will still get a pat down on international flights but we might just be able to hang on to our pillows! Looks like BlackBerrys are still out. On another note ABC got some images of the underwear that caused all this heartache…
