Miguel let me know about a new free application from GoodFoodNearYou. It essentially is a customized search that helps you find the healthiest thing to eat at restaurants near you. Since I am not much of a health nut I could not really give an opinion if this is useful or not but it cannot hurt to try. For example, by searching for my zip code in NYC it recommended a muffin at Starbucks and a Santa Fe Sub at Blimpie along with a Veggie Delight Salad at Subway. It also lets you view the menus for each result and gives you calorie information for its suggestion.
If you click on each restaurant it gives you their whole menu with the fat, calories, & carbs for each menu item. It even lets you drill down further and see the sodium, sugars, fiber, protein, & more for each menu item.
Pretty cool if you are into this kind of thing. Check it out at this link and let me know what you think!

Very useful, thanks! Always tired of planning my lunches when I’m at work.

The ability to use GPS location doesn’t work on my T-Mobile 8900. I’ve tried several different times and places throughout the day…no go.
