Ilium Releases eWallet Password Keeper For BlackBerry

Matthew just let me know that Ilium has released eWallet for BlackBerry. I know quite a few converts to BlackBerry who were waiting for Ilium to support the BlackBerry and they finally got their wish. The catch is that you get the upgrade free only if you bought eWallet in the past 6 months. If you didn’t you will have to pay $10 to upgrade. They have the Desktop+BlackBerry sync option for $29.95 and a BlackBerry only version for $19.95. Not sure what the point of the BlackBerry only version is since you would not be able to back it up…

From the product description:

Now you can manage your passwords, credit cards, PINs and other secure information on your BlackBerry, with the same confidence you’ve had in eWallet on all other mobile platforms!

Don’t be a victim of identity theft – keep all your important information in a format that’s secure, centralized, portable, yet simple to use when you need it! With eWallet you can store your:

Passwords, User Names, Bank Accounts, PIN numbers, Credit Cards, Memberships, Calling Cards, Health Info, & Travel Clubs

FlexWallet for BlackBerry has just become eWallet for BlackBerry and will continue to be aggressively developed by WebIS. WebIS has upgraded the BlackBerry product with some major improvements and support for eWallet 6.1’s features as well.

  • Get quick access to your most-used cards: create card shortcuts and build a Favorites folder for the info you want to open fast.
  • Customize your cards: choose any gradient color you want for each card’s background.
  • Search smarter: the Find feature now gives you a list of all possible cards that match what you’re looking for.
  • Save time and make custom templates fast: creating and editing your card templates is now easier than ever.

  1. I’ve got KeePass and the native Password Keeper, both free, and they work great. I’m not sure why I’d want to spend money for a product that seems to do the same thing.

  2. Hi, Your articles are all great, but I am new to BB and have a Storm. I love it, but it seems like most of the apps do not work on the Storm. I have bought several and trialed several. Most of the problem is because of the touch screen, I am guessing. I don’t know if its possible but it might be cool if on these articles and reviews you could mention if it works on a Storm or not.
