We mentioned the fact that American Airlines was testing our mobile boarding passes two days ago. That is why I was surprised to learn that Delta is also offering mobile boarding passes in LaGuardia Airport in New York City. Turns out it started back in June… Who knew?
In case you didn’t know like me you can now check-in online and get a mobile boarding pass at mobile.delta.com
Directions:
- STEP 1. Visit mobile.delta.com.
- STEP 2. Submit your confirmation number, credit card number, SkyMiles number, or eTicket number at the “Check in” screen.
- STEP 3. Download your mobile boarding pass.
- STEP 4. Show mobile boarding pass to TSA Security and gate agent for scanning.
Cool beans!

Continental was the first airline to test it, and has it available at more airports than any other, including IAH, EWR, CLE, BOS, DCA, AUS, LGA, and a few others.
