One of our readers left a comment about a free application for AMERITRADE clients that allows you access to your account on the go. MarketSimplified looks like the most powerful trading application for BlackBerry to date. I have not had that long to play with it but it packs a bevy of features that combines everything from streaming quotes to your watchlist. It even has a great dashboard for a quick snapshot view of your positions.
You can read more about the features at this link or qualify for the free application with your AMERITRADE account. So far it seems to support the 8300, 8700, & 8800 but no word on the 8100 or Bold.

just read terms of service. completely free for new tdameritrade accounts only. existing accounts get 30 trial. if want the app for free, open a new account and put $2000 into it. bogus garbage!

I am mailing on behalf of Market Simplified Inc. The mobile application is FREE for any existing or new TD AMERITRADE user as can be seen in a separate login section for TD AMERITRADE clients. Kindly read our FAQs for clarity on the same. There is NO request for any credit card details or payment conditions whatsoever.
The “OFFER DETAILS” that you speak of are with regard to the “30 days of free trading” that TD AMERITRADE offers as part of new account creation which also applies to new accounts opened via Market Simplified.
I REPEAT, the mobile application is FREE for TD AMERITRADE existing users.
Our offer is NOT “bogus garbage” and I would kindly request that you clarify with our support department before passing judgement on our services

The “Offer summary” that you have read refers to the “30 days of free trading” that TD AMERITRADE offers as part of its new account creation incentive. The same offer applies to users who create TD AMERITRADE accounts through Market Simplified too.
I would repeat to make it abundantly clear that TD AMERITRADE users can use the Market Simplified mobile trading application for free with no conditions attached.
We are also making small changes on the website to ensure there is no room for confusion in that regard for any of our users.

Vinod, i guess an apology is in order…i did stop reading the tos at this point:
“Offer valid for one new individual or Joint TD AMERITRADE account opened by December 31, 2008 and funded within 30 days with $2,000 or more.”
so you made me do a double-take and i read through the whole thing…seems it’s for the tdameritrade offer of free trades, and not the market simplified application that was being referred to.
i guess it’s not bogus garbage. sorry.

We did a double-take ourselves and are making subtle changes on the website to ensure there is absolutely no doubt in any user’s mind regarding the free nature of our offer.
