I am still trying to understand where the Javelin fits into the whole BlackBerry product line but I guess I will stay in the dark for now. Chris of Engadget Mobile scored some shots of a dummy BlackBerry Javelin that look authentic. It looks very similar to the Bold with one major thing missing. 3G.
RIM does tack on a 3.2 megapixel camera but if the 2MP camera on the curve is any indication the quality will still suck. It is supposed to have a nice screen but other than that I don’t see why they would come up with this device AFTER they release the Bold?
Could it be that the Bold will be priced in the stratosphere and the Javelin will be the el-cheapo berry? That does not make sense because all the Javelin adds to the curve is combining both WiFi & GPS together and a minor bump in the camera.
I guess we will just have to wait and see. What do you think?

Why a 3G-less version you ask?
For the poor T-Mobile customers of course, who..by the time have full blown 3G, the rest of the world will be utilizing 4G/LTE lol!!
As we know..T-Mobile is also slated to get the other 3G-less BlackBerry as well, the “KickStart”.

Your right, more megapixels won’t help. Better color is definitely needed, at least on the Curve, even on the highest quality setting.
