When people told me a year ago that location base services were going to be the next rage I didn’t believe them. Well I admit I am wrong. There are tons of location based services for BlackBerry so far.
Here is another one called InstaMapper. The program has been tested on the Sprint 8130 but it should work on other GPS enabled Berrys. The mapping is done on Google Maps and is done in real time. They also promise to protect your privacy for what thats worth. You can check it out at this link www.instamapper.com
Let me know if you try it out. Thanks Mark for pointing this one out.

This app and GPSED I use all the time. It works great on my wife’s BB 8130 w/Sprint. Turned this on last time I traveled to see family and it allowed them to see how far or close I was to arriving. I also use it for when my wife goes out for walks at night, we are in a rough part of town.
