iOS users who are in BBM BETA began to see the feature of "no ads" and "Custom PIN" on the shop section of BBM. Although it is not a surprise because BlackBerry has already announced that they will start to test new services to monetize more money from BBM.
These options currently exist but still no option to purchase them because there is no subscribe price for the service. Those who tried yet try to sign up were informed that they must upgrade their BBM.
It would be interesting to know whether this options will become available for users of Android, iOS, Windows Phone and those BlackBerry users.
These possibilities that exist at the moment :
- "No Ads" – Hide Ads from BBM feed.
- "Custom PIN" – Choose you favorite PIN number.
Right now when you click on the option to subscribe it through the BBM shop it states you need to upgrade to the latest BBM which you are already using if you are on the beta version. Will keep you updated when the features are activated.
