BlackBerry has pushed out an update to the BBM Beta in BlackBerry to fix some bugs and improve other features like simpler contact additions. The irony is that many of the fixes seem to be targeting the yet to be released BlackBerry Classic that nobody outside of BlackBerry really has just yet. Make of that what you will but they did include the following fixes in this update:
- Glympse sent during out of coverage is received as expired after User turns on Wifi
- Classic – After selecting a tab, User cant precisely and easily move up and down to highlight items using trackpad
- Classic – User is unable to scroll through the Voice chat toolbar in the Voice chat UI using the trackpad
- Classic – User can’t easily scroll using trackpad in the chat history area containing a long message history, sometimes automatic scrolling happens even without the use of trackpad
Sign up for the beta program at www.blackberry.com/beta. In other news BlackBerry also updated the limited beta of BBM for Windows Phone. Its a small update from 1.0.2 to 1.0.4 so my guess is that this is just bug fixes.
