BlackBerry is continuing their cost cutting efforts with the shutdown of an Ottawa product development center. They have laid off nearly 100 employees as part of the reductions in this hardware department that helped develop the Bold and BlackBerry Z10 models. This really is just a continuation of their 40% workforce reduction plan from last year.
