WhatsApp is making some waves recently with their acquisition by Facebook for an obscene sum. They have now announced at Mobile World Congress that they are going to take another page out of BBM’s book and add voice calling to the WhatsApp service. This is going to come to Android and iOS first and then come to BlackBerry and Nokia phones. With 465+ million users they are definitely a force to be reckoned with so BlackBerry better have a plan to keep on staying a few steps ahead.
