Thorsten Heins just announced a new role at BlackBerry targeting the largest growing work force, working mothers. The role is “Global Creative Director” and will be held by singer songwriter Alicia Keys. She was a longtime BlackBerry user who left to other “sexier” platforms as she called it and was won over by BlackBerry 10.
Her first project at RIM is a "Keep Moving Project” where they are challenge the directors, writers, musicians, designers, singers, etc to use BlackBerry 10 to create something beautiful. Neil Gaiman, Robert Rodriguez, and even Alicia Keys herself are in on the first round. Alicia will be doing a music video on her BlackBerry 10 in every city she visits.
