Retro Run: Car Racing is a fun new game by AM Networks. It lives up to it’s retro name with simple controls, a fun soundtrack and endless vertical scrolling action. Tilt left and right to avoid cops and other traffic. You can shoot and destroy regular vehicles but police cars are completely bulletproof.
You can buy upgrades with the coins you collect on your trip or you can buy more coins with an in app purchase.
There are fun powerups in the game that help you outrun the cops. The best is obviously the Delorean Boost!
When you run into a cop, you are instantly busted. The game is also over if your car takes too much damage from running into other cars. If you want to spend some more coins you can always bribe a cop to keep going, or bribe a developer to simply boost your final score.
A cool part about the game is the automatic online scoring system. It alerts you while you’re playing the game where you stand in the daily and global leaderboard. I haven’t figured out how to change my profile yet, but I like seeing where I’m at.
