December 11th is the day that the Gold SDK releases come out for BlackBerry 10. It looks like some of the RIM team and BlackBerry developer core will be commemorating it with BlackBerry 10 Gold SDK Tweetup NYC. They will be meeting up at the awesome Stitch Bar & Lounge in midtown Manhattan with the after work crowd so it should be packed. I know @AlexKinsella will be there from RIM. Here is what RIM has to say on the eventbrite page:
We’re just over eight weeks away from the BlackBerry 10 launch event on January 30th, 2013 and the excitement in our developer community is continuing to grow. Our final developer milestone is the gold release of our BlackBerry 10 SDKs on Tuesday, December 11th. To celebrate this release, we are holding a BlackBerry 10 Gold SDK Tweetup at Stitch Bar & Lounge in New York on December 11th and we’d like to you to join us for a few drinks, apps, and appetizers.
Greg Avola, CTO, Co-Founder, Developer at Untappd will be on hand to talk about PhoneGap development with BlackBerry 10 and bringing Untappd to the platform.
You can register for the event here. Let us know if you are coming to celebrate! I will be there along with David.
