I was thinking recently about how long I have been reviewing BlackBerry themes on Berryreview and it’s been awhile now (since the 8700). While I certainly wasn’t the first…I do like to think I had something to do with bringing new theme designers to the spotlight. I remember reviewing themers like Hedone Design, IDBERRY and Ninja Themes when they first started and look at them now!
I know they’re just themes but well, being in graphic design as a profession I couldn’t just keep a default BlackBerry theme LOL
Well so many people have jumped on the theme review band wagon now that there seems to be ‘theme reviewers’ everywhere. So what makes one review better than another? None…themes are personal preference. For me personally, it’s about discovering those special ‘out of the box’ theme designers who put that something extra in and what I love most (and why I started reviewing themes in the first place) is calling them to attention. So all that said (sorry to bore you), I’d like to make mention of a themer who has really come along in their theme designs.
No doubt she’s a girly theme designer but hey…a good theme is a good theme. Paint it Pink, by Ashabees is an extremely colorful and smooth running theme. The graphics are very high quality and I love her attention to tiny details like notifiers and cute but readable fonts. Worth the price of $3.98 and available for a variety of BlackBerry devices. She also has lots of free themes on her site (iheartashabees.com) so I suggest heading over there to take a look. She also has a theme club which I have been joining for the past few months and there’s lots of treasures there.

I think you’re the most thorough, well-versed theme reviewer out there, everyone else is just doing what you’ve done first. keep it up 😉
