Buzzd let us know that they have updated their real-time social city guide BlackBerry app to version 3. This new version aggregates the “Buzz” happening around you using information gathered from posts & check-ins on Twitter, Foursquare, Gowalla, Yelp, Brightkite, Loopt & many other social networks.
They have also updated the app with:
- Enhancements to the “buzzdmeter,” which now tracks the most popular venues ("buzzing places") from the aforementioned social networks over the last 6 hours.
- Users can now find their Facebook friends and Twitter followers on buzzd as well as
simultaneously post their buzzd ratings to their Facebook wall and/or Twitter feed. - Users can see what their friends are up to in the new "feed" section
- A complete redesign of the application’s interface
