Seidio has just stepped into the ruggedized case market with release of their new Innocase rugged holster combo for the BlackBerry 9700. This market is dominated by OtterBox so it will be interesting to see how Seidio fairs. This case does not seem to be as rugged as OtterBox’s Defender series but it might compare to their commuter or other models.
The new Innocase rugged combines a rugged skin and a skeleton that goes around it to secure your phone. When you don’t need the skeleton anymore you can take it off. The skin is made of 1.4mm silicone with a plastic skeleton frame that snaps on after. It has a ratcheting clip holster that supports up to a 2 inch utility belt and includes the BlackBerry sleeper magnet.
