If your not running the Vodafone device you will need to go to c:\program file\common files\research In Motion\Apploader and delete the vendor.xml file to be able to load this version to your Storm. Let us know what you find in the comments below. |

You have to consider that many are using Vista or Win7 64-bit OS’s. The correct location in this case is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion
There is also a backup version of this vendor.xml file in some cases, which also needs to go! Make sure you make backup copies of this file(s) just in case ;-p
