Ontella is a Good Idea but Needs Work

shozu DavidB let us know that Ontella has released a app that a very useful feature. After you take any picture with your Bold it will automatically copy it to your PC, email, PhotoBucket, Flickr, Snapfish, and Blogger based on your preferences. It only has two major problems. First of all the app is only available for the T-Mobile BlackBerry Bold 9700 and they are trying to charge $2.99/month after a 3 week trial.

I think there would be a huge market for an app that would automatically send your pictures to Twitter, Facebook, Picasa, Snapfish, and back it up to your PC. I know a few apps have tried but I have yet to find one that does it well. I also think that paying a subscription fee for such a service is in no way ideal and I doubt many people would pay it. Still if you happen to want the service AND you have a T-Mobile BlackBerry Bold 9700 you can find the preloaded icon on your homescreen.

I just think there is a opportunity for a developer to step in a do this right without a monthly subscription fee. If you already found an app that does this for you let me know! The closest I have found are Vpost, Shozu, & Cellspin (Maybe RIM’s Flickr app too) but none of them really make the whole process seamless.
