Here I thought I could live without hearing about NTP ever again. RIM settled with NTP back in 2006 for a settlement of $612.5 MILLION dollars. Law.com is now reporting that NTP has filed a Freedom of Information Act request to determine the relationship between RIM and the US Dept of Justice during the settlement.
Read the whole story over at Law.com. I am no lawyer so I will leave the legalize to the experts. I am not sure how this will all end but here is to hoping this gets nipped in the bud… The whole NTP shindig really annoyed all of RIM’s user base.
