T-Mobile BlackBerry 8520 Curve Now Available – $48.88 Steal @ Walmart
I got a chance to play with the BlackBerry 8520 Curve yesterday and really enjoyed it. The screen was sharper than the original curve even if it is the same resolution. The OS kind of reminds me of the 8350i but supposedly most applications will still work for the 8520.
The BlackBerry 8520 is available today at Walmart and T-Mobile stores. The crazy part is that T-Mobile is charging $129 for the 8520 Curve [Frost color | Black color] compared to $150 for the 8900 Curve. That does not make sense since the 8900 adds a better screen, camera, flash, GPS, and more for $20? The 8520 does have the new trackpad and dedicated media buttons but the 8900 still blows it away.
Walmart’s pricing makes quite a bit more sense at $48.88. The only downside is that they do not sell it online and it is only available in “limited stores.” Hopefully T-Mobile will come to their senses and drop the price on the 8520.
Let me know if you pick one up!
