The Calm Before The Storm
Well the guys over at The BoyGenius Report seem to be at the forefront of news once again! They just reported that the Verizon Storm has gone into Technical Acceptance.
From the BGR post;
Here’s our latest info on the BlackBerry Storm and the fate of the device on Verizon’s network: it just went into technical acceptance at Verizon which usually takes around 3-4 weeks, and the device has been delayed internally by around 3-4 weeks while they work out the kinks (read: buggy and unresponsive) and polish it up. That puts us around a mid-November launch on Verizon. We’ve double confirmed that information, so it should be pretty accurate. Additionally, we heard from someone else that they’ve increased the marketing budget for the BlackBerry Storm just to give AT&T a little kick in the nuts for delaying the Bold so much. That’s not confirmed, still probably a little true, plus we got a chuckle out of that anyway.
Well lets hope the Verizon guys can get their act together and have this thing out for the holiday season. Maybe if I’m lucky, I will be sporting one for my birthday (beginning of November) Yea I know, but I can dream can’t I?

Again, I’m only going to give RIM any credit for this if they create a GSM version. This exclusivity crap that Apple pulled with AT&T with the iPhone was not the kind of joke I expecated the good people at RIM to agree to.
Very nice.. thank u for the information, i posted it on my site.. you can check the site out it has some nice themes, free & not as well as some breaking news and other goodies.
