WorldMate Adds Two Very Useful Features

WorldmatelivelogoemailWorldMate is nothing new for the mobile warrior.  The application takes itinerarys from your inbox and converts them into a format you can use on your BlackBerry. That is just the tip of the iceberg…

The problem until now was that you needed to use their Outlook plugin to get it to work. They just sent me an email that you no longer have to use the plugin. Instead you can just send the itinerarys you wish to the email address [email protected] and it will automatically be added to your calendar in WorldMate. The only catch is that you need to send it from the email address you registered with. Which means that your secretary cannot email them for you.  You can read more about the feature here.

The second feature is pretty simple. With the latest version of WorldMate you can now EDIT you itinerary from your BlackBerry. It was kind of shocking that you could not do this before but hell better late then never…

  1. WorldMate have also found some love for Mac users. The calender now works through Entourage on your Intel based Mac. 🙂

  2. I noticed that if you go to your account on Worldmate Live, you can add and verify additional email addresses to use with the export function, so you should be able to add any additional email addresses you need for itinerary management.
I have successfully done this with two different accounts…
This is a great tool…I use it all the time.
