On Friday, El Chapo (Sinaloa Cartel boss), who was America’s most wanted international fugitive, was apprehended and taken back into custody by the Mexican Marines after his dramatic escape from Mexico’s from Altiplano maximum-security prison. During his 6 months as a fugitive, El Chapo consented an interview with Sean Penn to create a biography for him. However, since the interview could not be done in-person, but Penn had managed to send questions and communicated with El Chapo via BBM.

I will send my questions to El Chapo by BBM. He agrees that he will record his responses on videotape. Without being present, I could neither control the questioning nor prod for elaborations to his responses.
