IM+ the cross platform messenger just received a new update to version 1.3.1 adding quite a few new features. The application is one of the few apps available for the PlayBook that lets you chat across many public services such as Facebook, Gtalk, and yahoo, to name a few.

- Option to hide “Offline contacts” group
- Swipe to open keyboard
- Optimization of memory usage
