It has been a long time since I last used AIMP as my PC’s MP3 player but I am definitely going to give it another spin now. Project Mayhem Group has released AIMP Remote for the PlayBook which allows you to remotely control your AIMP music player on your PC from your PlayBook. It makes use of a free plugin for AIMP (AIMP Web Control Plugin) to manipulate AIMP through their AIMP Remote PlayBook app.

- Start/Pause/Stop/Next/Prev
- Repeat/Shuffle buttons
- View and control volume
- View and control track position
- View frequency, bitrate and audio type (music/radio/cda)

Great app, works very well. Finally I can switch music from sofa, bedroom and kitchen with my Playbook.
