Amazon has not really been part of RIM’s deep discounts of the BlackBerry PlayBook. Their prices have tended to be higher especially since they were mostly sold by third parties. NightFire pointed out to us in the comments that Amazon is now selling the 16GB BlackBerry PlayBook model directly on their website for $199. That is a enticing deal since they have free shipping, no tax in most states, and a liberal return policy in case are unsure.
