Some products make me wonder why nobody thought of them earlier. Case in point is the new smartphone coasters from New PC Gadgets. I am not sure if there is a similar product but it is essentially a flat piece of metal bent into a stand for practically any smartphone or mobile device. They just make it easier for you to prop up your BlackBerry without resorting to fugly hacks.
I am sure you could just bend a piece of metal yourself but New PC Gadgets is making it easier by just charging $3.95 for the coaster with discounts on volume over 10 units. Shipping is pretty reasonable with them only charging $2.95 to NYC.
