J.D. Power Gives T-Mobile USA Highest Customer Service Award

jd-power-awardT-Mobile once again took the award for the highest wireless customer service from J.D. Power and Associates. They just received the highest ranking in their 2010 Wireless Customer Care Performance Study –Volume 2. J.D. Power regularly gives these awards and T-Mobile tends to win them most of the time. They just received the retail customer service award back in March.

I have to say that in my personal experience T-Mobile does have amazing customer service. When I have to call them for friends they are way more knowledgeable than the AT&T reps I have to deal with.

What do you think of T-Mobile’s customer service?

  1. I am in total disagreement with the Customer Service award to T-mobile, I live in New York City and I was a customer of T-mobile and everytime that I had to call Customer service, they would never pick up, I would wait anywhere from 45 min to 1 hour to speak with someone, If anyone should have been giving the award, it should have been Sprint,Sprint provide you with various options to speak with Customer Service, from having a chat service, emailing them or calling them, and Sprint Customer Service pick up EVERYTIME within 5 mins, so this award to T- mobile, I just can’t see it, thank you very much for allowing me to express myself

    • Ron, I don’t know what you’re talking about… everytime I’ve had to call TMO, I’ve only been on hold for maybe 5 minutes maximum. If wait times are unusually long, they do give you the choice for a call back.

Disclaimer: I do not work for T-Mobile. I’ve been a TMO customer for 8 years. They do have their faults; no cell company is perfect, but after dealing with Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint in the past, I can wholeheartedly agree with JD Power’s recommendation.

  2. T-mobile has the worst telephone customer service of all the telephone companies in the United States. Although, without us they would not have a job, because they would not be needed still they insist on doing what ever they want with your accounts, and when you call to know what is going they scream at you and make comments such as “I don’t work for you”.
My most intense T-mobile representative was T-mobile manager at the Westchester location. However, I never got he’s name because he would not give it to me but I think T-mobile should fire all of their representatives including the managers starting with the ones working at the Westchester location.
