Business Card Reader 1.1 Adds French Italian & Spanish Support

In case you don’t remember the Business Card Reader app lets you take a picture of a business card and convert it into a contact. The new version 1.1 adds support for French, Italian, & Spanish along with a few more features and fixes.

New features include:

  • French, Italian, Spanish languages are supported.
  • Choosing the latest scanned photo from the file system.
  • Warning message about installing of inappropriate version (eg. keyboard version on touchscreen device).
  • User interface and design fixes.
  • Connectivity – BIS as default.
  • Other fixes: inserts complete and more accurate contact details into the appropriate fields of the contact info in BlackBerry address book.

  1. Its amazing who those blackberry developers try to screw you for over and over again with some help from RIM, imagine such app like the one mention is free to nokia users.

  2. Hi there, anyone who has tried this new version and can comment here?
    I tried the 7-day trial of the previous version and it was very bad, more like an alpha version rather than a commercial-ready app.

    But perhaps SHAPE has fixed the many bugs now?
    Unfortunately, they no longer offer a free trial.
