Leaked T-Mobile Project Dark Unlimited Plans Are Sweet

T-Mobile-project-dark T-Mobile has been quietly hyping their mysterious Project Dark recently and now we know what they are pitching. Leaked information is showing that T-Mobile is trying to compete head to head with Sprint on their unlimited plans.

MobileCrunch got the full details below:

  • Even More Plan: $59.99 for unlimited voice, $69.99 for unlimited voice and text, and $99.99 for unlimited voice, text, and data. 2-line family plans are available for $99.99, $119.99, and $179.99 respectively. 2-year contract required.
  • Even More Plus Plan: No contract required, but it seems you’ll be paying full retail price for handsets (split up across 4 payments). The phones are pricier, but you apparently pay less for the plans: $49.99 for unlimited voice, $59.99 for unlimited voice + text, and $89.99 for unlimited voice, text, and data.

So what do you think? Will this make you hurry over and pick up a 9700 Bold when it launches?

Now I have to ask what’s the story with the Project Dark moniker…

  1. There is an add-on though for the Smartphone data.
There’s a huge discussion going on over at BGR and engadgetmobile about this.
IE: In those, smartphone data is $25 extra and appears to be only able to be added to talk plans, so the question comes in about how much extra is text messages or are they included.
Take a look at the very bottom on all 4 sheets.
