RadioBee 1.6 Released – SHOUTcast & Icecast Internet Radio, Wi-Fi Support, & Bluetooth Streaming
RadioBee has been around for quite awhile but originally it did not work so well on the BlackBerry. They let me know that they just launched version 1.6 that brings quite a few BlackBerry features to the table so I thought it was worth a mention. It essentially lets you stream SHOUTcast internet radio stations to your BlackBerry. While this may not be as good as Pandora or Slacker there are thousands of SHOUTcast stations out there. The main downside is that the app costs $9.95 compared to the other free internet radio applications like Pandora, Slacker, & iHeartRadio.

- Sound engine built from scratch with no delays
- Ability to work on background
- WiFi / BES support
- Using volume buttons and trackball
- support of SHOUTcast stations and Icecast stations
- Reliability rating and Playing rating for each station in the database
- Bluetooth audio streaming to your car or home audio (BB only)
