Usually we don’t write about every celebrity that is using a BlackBerry but I found this little news tidbit interesting. A bit back Palm got quite a bit of publicity from Howard Stern when they demoed the Pre for him. In an interesting twist of events Howard decided to get a BlackBerry Bold instead of the lauded Pre. He said the Pre was a fine phone but since it could not connect to Lotus Notes he favored the Bold. Personally I checked out the Pre and it looks really slick. This makes me wonder how much of a competitor it will be especially since most users wont care about Lotus Notes support.
RIM is really getting some great free marketing recently. First Obama and now Stern… I wonder what’s next?
