Rhomobile Launches Open Source Smartphone HTML/Ruby Application Development Framework

Not sure how many people this will interest but Rhomobile just let me know that they have released a new open source application for BlackBerry developers. It lets developers create a HTML/Ruby on Rails application that will work on practically every smartphone using their open source application development framework. To prove their point they released some sample applications for SugarCRM, Lighthouse, Siebel Field Service, & a sample phonebook application. It looks like Rhomobile is trying to help companies mobilize their applications with their framework.

Streaming on my 8330 works for no more than 15 seconds before getting error code 204 “Stream not seekable”. While the companion service is interesting and useful this is just another failed radio streaming app.

    • Samson,

I’m not sure that I understand your post. What do you mean by “radio” and “streaming”. There are several apps running on BlackBerries.
