Pwn2Own Competition Fails to Hack Mobile OS’s
Just as a heads up. The CanSecWest Pwn2Own contest we told you about is over and all of the mobile OS’s came out intact with no hacks succeeding in bypassing their security. They managed to hack practically every OS browser other than Google’s Chrome so this is impressive to say the least. Its kind of scary to see that some of the desktop browsers were taken down in a few minutes with zero day exploits. I thought the hackers would at least get some headway with Symbian and Windows Mobile but that turned out not to be the case. I guess our BlackBerrys are safe until next year!
