TaskMailer 1.3 Beta Released

Comments Off

I just got an email from S4BB, telling me that TaskMailer 1.3 Beta is now available for download. We mentioned this product when it’s initial beta was released, and S4BB sure seems to be hyping it up. I have gotten at least a dozen emails since I signed up for the beta version regarding my opinion of this product. I guess they think that it is going to do quite well. Personally I have never been incredibly impressed with S4BB’s products, but my mind has been changed many times before!

taskmailer_overviewThe summary below is from S4BB’s email.

TaskMailer(TM) for BlackBerry®
TaskMailer(TM) is a small program which allows you to create and email a task (todo) in the fastest way you can imagine. The current features include:

  • Easily create and email a task with one program.
  • Task email attachment formats: iCal and vCal.
  • Compatible with desktop task applications including but not limited to Microsoft® Outlook®, iCal®, Entourage®, and more.
  • Email a task anyone!
  • Optional: save the task in your BlackBerry’s internal task database.
  • Task preferences which can be entered: name, priority, status, due date, category / categories, notes.
  • Fast access: by assigning one of the BlackBerry’s softkey to TaskMailer the program is accessible with just one click. More here.

You can download the beta via Desktop Installation Here, or OTA Download Here.

You can find a list of all the changes since the original release HERE. I don’t personally use this application, so if you do, please comment about any improvements and changes that you find!
