I was reading Laptop Magazine over the weekend and came across and interesting new service. Its called WYWH (Wish You Were Here) camera phone postcards and is a very simple service. You first need to sign up but after that you just snap a picture and email it to [email protected] and it will email you back a link to personalize the postcard and enter in the address.
Your first two postcards are free which is pretty cool. If you consider how much a postcard costs nowadays on top of finding a stamp this might be a great idea. Especially since it lets you seriously personalize the card. It also saves you some serious postage when you are traveling overseas since the price is the same no matter where you send the postcard from.
I will let you know how they look when I get my sample. It seems to work for all the major US carriers but I am not sure exactly how they bill you. It seems like it would be tacked on to your monthly bill somehow. You might want to check that out if you plan on using it more than the 2 free samples in the trial.
