ZipClip Beta – Send Pictures & More To Your Berry Free
PLEASE NOTE: The BlackBerry application did not work for me since I got an error that said: Error starting ZipClip: Symbol ‘playerlistener.i’ not found. I will be keeping an eye on the application as it progresses. Since it is still in beta I am willing to forgive it not working yet. I have written a support request but I am hoping if more of us show interest they will make this a high priority fix.
I was just reading about this cool new service on Mashable. Turns out they have a free BlackBerry compatible application. It essentially just lets you right click on any picture and text on a website and send it to your phone or your friends phone. They also claim spotty support for audio and video being sent to your BlackBerry.
Once you register at www.zipclip.com it will send you a wap push message to install the software on your BlackBerry. Or you can just go to www.zipclip.com/wap/ and login to install. You also need to install the Firefox or Internet Explorer plugin to be able to send stuff.
Let me know if you have any more luck than I did…

Yeah, same thing happened to me! I hope they’ll fix it soon. I have been waiting for a service like this for a long time and the closest to it was Evernote, but ZipClip’s implementation is far more elegant and simpler.
