MiuTunes 2.1.0 Out Of Beta – iPod-like MP3 Player App

Robbie just let me know that MiuTunes has released their MP3 player publicly and is officially out of Beta. The application reminds me of Flipside and looks really slick. It has a coverflow interface just like the newer iPods.
Features:
- Browse your music collection like the way you flip through CD albums.
- Browse and play music by albums, artists, song titles, genres or years.
- Create, modify and delete playlists.
- Shuffle and repeat songs.
- Support popular music file formats: MP3, AAC, M4A and WMA (WMA is supported in BlackBerry OS 4.3 or above. Audio tags of WMA files are not supported now.)
- Auto pause the player when there is an incoming call.
- Browser integration to allow you to learn more about your music.

Even though the documentation states that OS v4.3 is required for WMA support, I have been able to play WMA files with OS v4.2.2.196 on my 8830 (this did NOT work with OS v4.2.2.176).

The have a software update. Now version 2.1.2 supports audio path to direct to bluetooth A2DP. I love the product and impressed at the speed their updates.
