North Forecast – Yet Another Free Weather Application

Everybody always gives us a hard time when we mention yet another weather app but I don’t care! I believe in variety being the flavor of life. This latest weather app was created as an internal project by the good guys at NorthCubed and they have kindly offered it for free to the general public. It requires OS 4.2.1+ but has not been tested on OS 4.5 yet. The app looks very good and I liked the fact that it gave you the forecast in words instead of pictures.

From the application description:

A simple application that displays weather data for your city. You may have varying degrees of success if you use this outside the UK/Europe but it’s another internal test project made in an afternoon and therefore we do not offer any support and have no plans to add zipcode/postcode or any other functionality.

Note – this application uses the Google Weather API which has not been formally released for public use, Google may change or remove the service at any time causing the application to stop functioning.
