FAQ: Save A Google Talk Contacts Picture To Your BlackBerry
I just discovered a great new feature in GoogleTalk that I thought might interest some. The new version of Google Talk allows you save a Google Talk Contacts picture onto your BlackBerry. The directions are pretty simple but not something you would expect to find if you were not looking for it. Since I have a BlackBerry 8800 I do not have a camera so all pictures I have are either emailed to me or otherwise received so this is a cool feature.
I also discovered this knowledgebase article that details the exact steps to save a contacts picture:
- On the Friends List, highlight a Friend.
- Display the menu and select Friend Details.
- Highlight the Friend’s display picture.
- Display the menu and select Save Picture.
- Click Save.
